Reverend Greene has graciously agreed to help us out in class tomorrow. He is going to give us an overview of what banks do and the systemic risk that our economics experts were talking about in the video. Then he is going to answer any and all questions that you might have. Since you turned your questions from the weekend's reading into me, I HIGHLY recommend that you at least re-read the Slate article and have several SUBSTANTIVE questions written down that you can ask him. In addition , consider having a chat with your parents. It might be interesting to hear what their perspectives are on the sources of the financial crisis. They may even have some questions they would like answered. The key is that I want each of you to be ready to engage in the conversation. Your level of engagement will be a major part of your participation grade!
